My mum and dad were variety performers. My dad later produced pantomimes and seaside summer shows. I’ve produced TV shows and events myself as well as being a ‘Prof’.
I married Mary - niece of the celebrated puppeteer John Wright who founded London’s Little Angel Theatre. Mary has spent a lifetime as a professional puppeteer/puppet maker for theatre, television and film.
Our daughter Katey is a Punch Prof and third generation puppeteer. Her daughter Roisin is a keen fan of Mr. Punch and may yet be the fourth generation in a family tradition.

We have a family history – too – of promoting the Punch and Judy tradition itself. From Mr. Punch’s 300th birthday in 1962 to his recent 350th in 2012 and onwards we’ve been proud to be ambassadors for this great British tradition and to have organised many of its major events.
